One product, two ways to download
InstaxVideo brings a permitted-media download flow to the web and Android. On the website, you paste an approved direct link, confirm that you own the media or have permission, and inspect the file before downloading it. The browser receives the completed file and saves it using your download settings.
The Android APK is a separate app for your phone. It offers the same source checks with download progress, a local history, and controls to open or share completed files. The website and app do not create a shared cloud collection or require an InstaxVideo account.

Clear limits are part of the product
Our current downloader accepts original video and audio files from approved direct HTTPS sources. A link to a social post is a page, not necessarily a downloadable media file. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X and Pinterest downloads are currently unavailable on InstaxVideo. We display that limit instead of suggesting that every public link will work.
Public visibility is only one part of the picture. You still need permission to save the work, and the source must permit access. The service does not use your platform passwords, session cookies or private account access. Private, login-only, paywalled and DRM-protected content is unsupported.
The file you see is the file you get
The website inspects an approved file and prepares real download choices. Keep the original, or choose an available MP4 version at 1080p, 720p or 480p without increasing the source resolution. MP3 at 128 kbps is offered when a readable audio track is present. Each option shows the completed file’s actual size. Re-encoding cannot restore detail missing from the source. The current Android release downloads the original source file; website quality preparation is a separate flow.
